Sykes Enterprises, Incorporated Identifies Location For Previously Announced Call Center

TAMPA, November 3, 1999 – Sykes Enterprises, Incorporated (“Sykes”) (Nasdaq: SYKE), a global leader in providing vertically integrated, technology-based solutions worldwide, today identified Virginia, Minnesota as the location of a previously announced call center. The new 42,500 square feet, state-of-the-art facility is the Company’s 19th U.S. call center and first presence in the state of Minnesota.

The Company recently announced the addition of three technical support centers including the Minnesota facility, a third facility in Kentucky and another still in the final stages of agreement. Each center will add the capacity of 432 seats on a single shift. During 1999, Sykes has announced, opened or significantly expanded 16 technical call centers. To date, the Company has added more than 5,600 new seats to its seating capacity, bringing the Company’s total seating capacity to approximately 12,600 seats worldwide.
