Emerson Opened New Facilities in Costa Rica and Expects to Hire 200 People Over the Next Three Years
- Emerson opened 120 new jobs during 2014. It currently employs over 815 workers who provide services in English, Portuguese and Spanish.
- New facilities are located in Multipark, Escazú.
San José, Costa Rica, March 18, 2015. The company Emerson (NYSE: EMR), inaugurated the expansion of its facilities in Multipark, Escazú, to have a capacity of 1000 people, which will expand its Service Center and Engineering Center in the country, projecting a 200 people increase in head count over the next three years.
The professional profiles to hire will be in engineering, finance, accounting, marketing and sales, IT and logistics.
The Shared Services Center and the Center for Engineering in Emerson in Costa Rica, grow thanks to their strategic location in the Americas and the attractive potential of the Costa Rican human capital. Operations in the United States, Latin America, Canada and Europe are serviced by the center in Costa Rica.
